A Development of Training Program for Strengthening Professional Competency of Security Employees Based on Buddhist Psychology

Abstract
This quasi-experimental research aimed to study the effects of a development of training program for strengthening professional competency of security employees based on Buddhist psychology. The 60 samples, using the G*Power program were divided into 2 groups of 30 peoples in an experimental and a control group. The research tools were a semi-structured interview, the observance of 5 precepts comprehension assessment, 4 aspects of competency assessment and program with 10 activities for 3 days. The data were analyzed by T-test, content analysis and analytic induction. The research revealed that the average score of strengthening professional competency in the experimental group was higher than before the experiment and was higher than control group at statistical significant level of 05. and the experimental group had competency retention at good level after 1 month follow-up
