Vipassana Mediation Teaching Process According to Buddhist Psychology for Difference Ages

Abstract

Research article on " Vipassana mediation teaching process according to Buddhist psychology for difference ages " has the purposes of (1) to study Buddhist teaching methods according to Buddhist principles for difference ages (2) to study the Vipassana mediation teaching process according to Buddhist psychology for difference ages (3) to propose Vipassana mediation teaching process according to Buddhist psychology that is suitable for difference ages. This research was qualitative research. The key informants were Vipassana meditation masters and trainees who were divided into two age groups: youth (age not over 16 years) and adults (age 16 years or older). Content analysis was employed to analyze the data. The research findings are summarized as follows: 1) Buddhist teaching methods according to Buddhist principles consists of teaching topics or teaching contents and teaching methods or styles. 2) The Vipassana mediation teaching process covers various issues, including the teaching contents, methods, teaching procedures and measurement and evaluation methods 3) Six steps of  the Vipassana mediation teaching process according to Buddhist psychology for difference ages  are: (1) Teaching paradigm (2) Learner classification (3) Appropriate content selecting (4 ) Teaching operations (5) Measurement and evaluation and (6) feedback Providing
