Model Development for Enhancing Students’ Ethical and Moral Training by Implementing Scouting Process in Primary Schools Under Bangkok Metropolitan

Abstract

This research aims to study and develop students in morality and ethics by the scout process. Including studying the problems and obstacles that affect the effectiveness of the development of learners on morality and ethics. Included the efficiency of the student development activities that have been developed in a total of 8 features, including diligence, saving, honest, disciplined, polite, clean, harmonious, and with the spirit, that through the use of student development activities. By choosing and organizing learning experiences that are appropriate to the nature of the student. The student development activity that extends of content that is more than the usual course. Because it is a student development activity that develops both knowledge, skills and experience with the scout process. The research found that results of the questionnaire for the development of the moral ethics and moral development model of students by using the scout process and the suggestion form for creating the moral ethics of students by using the scout process that the highest level of importance on each side. For the scout training test that scores of average grade 4 - 6 students before training, with an average score of less than 3 points after training. For the satisfaction test on the morality and ethics enhancement model of students using the scout process, the score level is very high. The level of the score from the questionnaire of the students' opinions after the study that a set of activities in a very high level
