A Buddhist Integrated Administration of Local Organization, Nongprue Municipality, Chonburi Province

Abstract

This research entitled ‘A Buddhist Integrated Administration of Local Organization, Nongprue Municipality, Chonburi Province’ has three objectives: 1) to study the situations of administration of local organization, 2) to study the application of Buddhist teachings into the administration of local organization, Nongprue Municipality, Chonburi Province, and 3) to analyze the Buddhist integrated administration of local organization, Nongprue Municipality, Chonburi Province. This is a qualitative and quantitative research.

In the research, it was clearly found that the Buddhist teachings have been applied into the administration of local organization by Nongprue Municipality, Chonburi Province, where their staff have been working effectively through variety of projects and activities as follows: 1) the administration of its organization is done through the development of staff’s potentiality by Nongprue Municipality whereby the Buddhist teachings, virtues and morality, are properly observed in accordance with four bases of social solidarity, four paths of accomplishment and virtues that protect the world, 2) its administration of such organization is chiefly focused on the participation where the development of potentiality and the creation of opportunity for public are opened for any participation while the prescription of fiscal administration is carried out which are in accordance with seven virtues leading never to decline but only to prosperity, seven qualities of a good man and Four Noble Truths, 3) the administration of organization is done through the empowerment of morality where the activities concerning with the Buddhist teachings are gradually and often added into the given various projects and activities which are in accordance with its suitability of Four Sublime States of mind.

In this research, the new body of knowledge gained from findings clearly showed that the successfulness obtained by Nongprue Municipality is considerably derived from the application of the above virtues that protect the world into the administration of local organization whereby its staff have been performing their assigned duty effectively.
