The results showed that all the 8 provinces are moving towards being an aging society because there are more than 20 percent of ageing population. The action system for supporting of elderly care at family and community level in each province is still doing well, combination with the way of life in modern Lanna society. Therefore, most elderly people, more than 50% of them are able to take care of themselves. However, in terms of systems and mechanisms to promote a better quality of life of the elderly, it is very important to create an environment and support that is conducive to their life to achieve the readiness for the development of their potential and contributing to the self-sufficiency of the elderly in the long run.
