Product Development from Local Wisdom to Increase an Efficiency of Community Management Based on Sustainability concept in Ban Ma Yang Community, Thawat Buri District, Roi Et Province

Abstract
This research aimed 1) to study the basic information about community products and the potential of community products, 2) to develop community products, and 3) to study the group’s management. This research used qualitative research methods and the participatory action research. The participants of this research consisted of Sabaikit weaving group, Ban Ma Yang, community leaders, and community enterprise groups. The research methods consisted of questionnaires, evaluation, focus group discussion, experiments, interviews, and knowledge transfer. The results showed that the average community product potential scores were 66.75 which was of low potential grade or D grade community product. The product prototype development was Sabaikit and natural dyed scarves. The outstanding products were using traditional wisdom and local materials. The scarf had good texture, softness, shine, good heat dissipation and moisture absorption. The overall suitability of the prototype product was at a high level ( 3.90). There was an effective way to administer the group by establishing a community enterprise group in order to develop new products in order to obtain the Community Product Standards and to improve the group management process.
