Abstract

This research has two main objectives: 1) To study the context of the Ban Tha Hin tourism community and 2) to evaluate the potential for community tourism management, Singhanakhon district, Songkhla province. The methods of this qualitative research are survey, observation, group discussion and in-depth interview conducted with those involved in community tourism. The findings of this research were as follows: The operational context of the tourism community is driven by subdistrict administration organization. The goal of community based tourism is to be a learning resource for the local culture of students, students and the general tourist. The results of the assessment of the potential for community-based tourism management. The Ban Tha Hin found that In the management of tourism by the community and the management of social economy and good quality of life, Conservation and promotion of cultural heritage Systematic, Sustainable management of natural resources and the environment and the service and safety are very high potential.
