Abstract

The objective of this research was to create value-added of the​ancient pattern fabric of Thap Khlai community, Uthai Thani province. The ​research based on studying from 4 groups of Thap Khlai Weaving by select 25 target groups. Research​​ team use participatory action research and self-analysis of the community with SWOT techniques. The community has unique strengths in woven pattern and expertise in pattern and weaving design. The study found that creating added value by using community identities to develop by reducing some pattern. Five woven patterns of woven fabric included Lai Pu Juang, Lai Little Turtle, Lai Bird, Lai Sun and applied antique patterns. The results of consumer satisfaction analysis on overall prototype products showed the highest level of satisfaction. (gif.latex?\dpi{50}&space;\large&space;\bar{X}= 4.82).
