Perception of Self-Practice According to Professional Ethics of First Year Students in Faculty of Education, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University by Using the Wisdom of Thai Teachers

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to: 1) study the perception of self-practice according to the professional ethics, 2) compare the perception of self-practice according to the professional ethics before and after joining the activity. The sample group consisted of 35 undergraduate students, 1st year in 1st semester of academic year 2019, which were obtained by cluster random sampling. The research tool was self-assessment form whichwas a 5-level estimation scale with the discrimination between 0.596-0.810 and Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.957. Data analysis used average values Standard Deviation and observed different scores. The results of the research showed that 1) Before participating in activities, students perceived self-practice according to the professional ethics of teachers at the moderate level ( = 2.70, S.D. = 0.78) and after participating in activities, students perceived at the high level ( = 3.59, S.D. = 0.76) 2). After joining activities, students had higher perception of self-practice according to the professional ethics. The students had developed at the moderate level and the top 3 were item 2.2 honesty, item 3.1 compassion, care, support, encouragement for students and item 3.2 supporting the students to have learning skills and good habits.
