Problem Solving Operations in Southern Border Provinces: Case Study of Project for Repairing Houses that are Poor and Underprivileged People in Southern Border Provinces

Abstract

This research aimed: 1) to study problems and obstacles of the project; 2) to study the project evaluation results; and 3) to present a model of the problem solving operations of the project for repairing houses that are poor and underprivileged people in the southern border provinces. This research is a qualitative research. The population used in the study is family of impoverished people in the southern border provinces that fail basic need criteria and passed the selection of poor households and relevant officials with specific selection methods. The result of the study was as follows; 1) Able to renovate residences for the target population, who are poor and underprivileged in the southern border provinces number of 1,988 houses, representing 100 %; 2) The output and outcome of a project to support problem solving and development of target population potential in the southern border provinces in general, it is at a medium level; and 3) Get a model of the problem solving operations of the project for repairing houses that are poor and underprivileged people in the southern border provinces to be a guideline for effective management of the future.
