Community Tourism Development Based on Lao Ngaew’s Cultural Assets in Thong En Subdistrict, In Buri District, Sing Buri Province

Abstract
The research objective was to develop community based tourism on the basis of Laongaew’s cultural capital, Thong-en sub-district, Inburi district, Singburi province. Survey research, participatory action research (PAR) from key stakeholders and future search conference (FSC) were used to R&D by PDCA cycle, Data was analyzed by content analysis. The main findings were: 1. Laongaew’s cultural capital, Thong-en sub-district, were 1) Buddhism is a mental attachment, 2) Laongaew’s language, 3) Laongaew’s main occupation, 4) Laongaew’s traditional customs, 5) Laongaew’s lifestyle, and 6) Laongaew’s traditional food 2. Laongaew’s Cultural Capital, Thong-en Sub-district has the potential and strength of tourism business 3. There were 4 strategies to develop community based tourism on the basis of Laongaew’s cultural capital, Thong-en sub-district, such as 1) the development of tourism activities to learn the Laongaew’s cultural; 2) the development of the knowledge workers in the Laongaew’s cultural; 3) to improve the landscape of community attractions; and 4) to conserve, restore and develop Laongaew’s cultural capital and 4. There were 3 creative tourism plans based on the basis of Laongaew’s cultural capital, Thong-en sub-district: 1) for youth. "Ban Thai - Laongaew Thong-en tour" 2) For the guests. "Laongaew Thong-en Gold Trips", and 3) for the elderly. "The most beautiful Laongaew Thong-en gold fin"
