THE STUDY OF TOURISM BEHAVIOR OF STUDENTS IN LEARNING RESOURCE OF THE ROYAL FOUNDATION PROJECT FOR DEVELOPING CURRICULUM FOR PROMOTING NATURAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study students’ tourism behavior in learning resource of the royal foundation project, 2) to develop training curriculum for promoting natural and environmental conservation, 3) to evaluate training curriculum for promoting natural and environmental conservation using Puissance Analysis  Technique consisting of 4 operation processes: 1) studying students’ tourism behavior, 2) outlining and developing training curriculum, 3) evaluating training curriculum outline, 4) evaluating the quality of training curriculum. The target groups were 1) 45 students participating the study visit, 2) 10 experts. Instruments used to collect data were 1) questionnaires 2) training curriculum for promoting natural and environmental conservation 3) The Puissance Analysis Matrix used to analyze behavioral purposes, training activities and measurement and evaluation. Data were analyzed for percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results found that: 1) The result of students’ tourism behavior study found that overall knowledge and understanding about natural and environmental conservation were at the high level. 2) The result of curriculum development found that the suitability of training curriculum for promoting natural and environmental conservation was at the highest level. 3) The result of training curriculum evaluation found that the quality of overall training curriculum for promoting natural and environmental conservation was at the high level. and when considering each side, it was found that behavioral purposes, training activities and measurement and evaluation were at the high level. In conclusion, the quality of training curriculum constructed by the researcher was at the high level the training curriculum can be used for training efficiently.
