Abstract

The objectives of the study were as follows : 1) to study the administration in
accordance with the Tuthiyapaphanikha Sutta of the administrators of high schools in
Bang Pa-In District of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, 2) to study principles and
development characteristics of school’s administrators in accordance with the
Tuthiyapaphanikha Sutta of high schools in Bang Pa-In District of Phra Nakhon Si
Ayutthaya Province, and 3) to present guidelines for developing administration in
accordance with the Tuthiyapaphanikha Sutta for the administrators of high schools
in Bang Pa-In District of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The research used mixed
methods in which quantitative and qualitative methods were combined. The
quantitative data were collected from questionnaires distributed to 112
administrators and teachers who were teaching at high schools in Bang Pa-In District
of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Data were analyzed by using mean and
standard deviation. The results were shown in tables and descriptions. The
qualitative data were collected through content analysis and interview with 6
samples.
The research findings were as follows :
The study of administration in accordance with the Tuthiyapaphanikha Sutta of
the administrators of high schools in Bang Pa-In District of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya
Province revealed that overall was in the high level, and considering the high level in
all aspects ranking from highest to lowest: human relation skill, technical skill, and
conceptual skill.
The study of principles and development characteristics of school’s


Bang Pa-In District of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province revealed that the
administrators must have visions and planning. They should be prudent, decisive,
creative, critical thinker, directive, skilled in the use of technology, experienced, keen
in practicing, hardworking, supportive, optimistic, friendly, service-minded, honest,
sincere, promising, and unbiased. Also, they should distribute administrative power,
promote education, apply moral codes, be reasonable, be prudent, embrace
evaluation, earn faith and confidence from people.
The guidelines for developing administration in accordance with the
Tuthiyapaphanikha Sutta for the administrators of high schools in Bang Pa-In District
of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province consist of these 3 following aspects. 1)
Conceptual skills refer to the vision and foresight including creating organizational
vision, having competence, developing plan and creativity. 2) Technical skills refer to
the ability to perform tasks, expertise in tasks including be attentive in practicing,
skillful, talented, experienced, competent, enthusiastic, and hardworking. 3) Human
relation skills refer to the interaction with others including being polite, considerate,
enthusiastic, focusing on work, friendly, supportive, as well as showing respect to
others.
