Abstract

Education reform based on educational Concept of Phrabrahmagunabhorn
(P.A. Payutto) is to bring the idea of wise men to education reform by integrating the
Buddhist principles into the education process, called "Buddhist Based Education”,
which is suitable to Thai society as Buddhism has long been existing with Thailand, as
the main foundation of Thai society, and as the majority of Thai people believe in
Buddhism and they should have advantages from Buddhism. The Buddhist based
education also focuses self-development to accomplish with knowledge and
behaviors or knowledge and characters that will result to Thailand as the land of
wisdom.
