The Qualified Educational Administration with Iddhipāda

Abstract

Nowadays, there are theories in educational administration. Among those theories, the PDCA theory, known as the Deming Cycle or Shewhart Cycle, is similar to Iddhipada principles in Buddhism. A comparative study between PDCA theory and Iddhipada principles should be done to integrate the study results and to propose a study model in educational administration called ‘The qualified educational administration with Iddhipada’. Three major contents presented in this article are: 1) the PDCA theory, 2) Iddhipāda in Buddhism, and 3) A comparison of PDCA theory and Iddhipàda in use in educational administration.
