The Development of 5Es Inquiry-Based Learning with Metaverse on the Interactions in the Solar System in Science and Technology for the Ninth Graders

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to 1) create Metaverse on the Interactions in the Solar System and 2) develop 5Es Inquiry-Based Learning with Metaverse in Science and Technology for the Ninth Graders. The target population for the research consisted of approximately 390,254 ninth-grade students in academic year 2023 (Bureau of Basic Education Policy and Planning, 2023). The research instruments included: 1) Metaverse on the Interactions in the Solar System, 2) the learning management plan, and 3) the quality assessment form of Metaverse. The data were analyzed by computing average and standard deviation.
The research indicated that 1) the result of the quality assessment of Metaverse for Learning on the Interactions in the Solar System in Science and Technology for the Ninth Graders was at a high level, with the mean of 4.04 and standard deviation of 0.02 which corresponded to the specified criteria. And 2) the result of the quality assessment of 5Es Inquiry-Based Learning with Metaverse was at a high level, with the mean of 4.40 and standard deviation of 0.29 which corresponded to the specified criteria.
