Abstract
This research aims to have an in-depth understanding of the word ‘quality curriculum in higher education’ through the perception of higher education students studying in the programs of tourism and hospitality. The study used qualitative research approach by conducting in-depth and focus group interviews. The research participants were students from Thailand’s two prestigious higher education institutions, Dusit Thani College (private institution) and Kasetsart University (public institution). There were 34 informants from both institutions. Almost all the informants were students and studying in different programs of tourism and hospitality such as tourism, culinary arts and kitchen, MICE, hotel and resort. The findings indicate that the interpretation of ‘quality curriculum/program in higher education’ can be divided into four domains: (1) Identity and Responsiveness to Learners (2) Career Path and Employability, Work-Readiness Skills, and Networks (3) Having Good Reputation and (4) Strengthening Students’ Self-Image to Public
