นับถอยหลัง SDGs 2030 : การวิเคราะห์ช่องว่างของการศึกษาไทย

บทคัดย่อ
สหประชาชาติได้กำหนดเป้าหมายของการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development Goals : SDGs) ตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ.2015 และจะสิ้นสุดลงในปี ค.ศ.2030 เพื่อเป็นหมุดหมายให้ทั่วโลกวางแผนการพัฒนาที่เชื่อมโยงกันทั้งในประเทศและระหว่างประเทศ โดยมีข้อคำนึงว่า การพัฒนาด้านหนึ่งจะไม่ก่อให้เกิดปัญหากับด้านอื่น ไม่ลดทอนโอกาสของคนรุ่นหลังที่จะใช้ทรัพยากรเช่นเดียวกับคนในรุ่นปัจจุบัน การพัฒนาที่ดีจะต้องสร้างความสมดุลระหว่างความยั่งยืนทางสังคม เศรษฐกิจ และสิ่งแวดล้อม ประเทศสมาชิกสหประชาชาติจำนวน 193 ประเทศ (รวมทั้งประเทศไทย) ร่วมลงนามรับรองวาระดังกล่าวในลักษณะของพันธสัญญาแบบสมัครใจ แต่ละประเทศกำหนดให้มีหน่วยงานรับผิดชอบและประเมินผลอย่างต่อเนื่อง สำหรับประเทศไทย มีทั้งหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนที่ให้การสนับสนุนการดำเนินงานในหลากหลายมิติและมีความพยายามอย่างยิ่งที่จะปิดช่องว่างของการพัฒนาที่ผ่านมา หนึ่งในประเด็นที่สำคัญคือ เรื่องการศึกษาที่ปัจจุบันหลายภาคส่วนเข้าใจดีว่า มิได้จำกัดอยู่ในห้องเรียนเพียงอย่างเดียว การศึกษาที่ดีเกิดขึ้นได้ทุกที่ทุกเวลาตามแต่ละบริบทซึ่งจะส่งผลให้เกิดการต่อยอดและพัฒนาอย่างไม่สิ้นสุด นำไปสู่ความสำเร็จของเป้าหมายของการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนโดยให้ความสำคัญกับการพัฒนามนุษย์ในฐานะพลเมืองโลกที่มีคุณภาพ
