The results of the research revealed that the objectives were set by strictly teaching according to the curriculum and student-centered learning in popular music ensemble activity. The main teaching media are from Hal Leonard publisher and the supplementary books as Jazz Standard 100 licks in the form of digital media such as video clips, YouTube and audio recordings. There are evaluations and assessments of learning all the time. The guidelines for teaching and learning were found that instruction must be based on the curriculum and student-centered learning because each student has different abilities. The teachers must give priority to the content and potential of the students before increasing the difficulty. Concerts, the main teaching media are from Hal Leonard publisher and the supplementary books as Jazz Standard 100 licks books, video clips from YouTube and audio recordings should be provided more as teaching and learning activities apart from popular music ensemble. Instructors measure and evaluate students individually. The rating of each exam is depended on the instructors.
