The Development of Chinese Vocabulary Memorizing and Reading-Aloud Skills by Using the Blooket Game of Mathayomsuksa 3 Students at Mathayomwatsing School

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to create and determine the efficiency of a learning management plan to improve memorizing Chinese vocabulary and reading-aloud skills by using the Blooket game with an efficiency of 80/80, and to compare the achievement of memorizing Chinese vocabulary and reading aloud skill before and after using the Blooket game of Mathayomsuksa 3 students, Mathayomwatsing School. The sample group used in this research was 22 Mathayomsuksa 3/16 students of Mathayomwatsing School, who were studying the (additional) Chinese  subject in semester 2/2022.  They were selected by Cluster Random Sampling.  The research tools were four learning management plans using the Blooket game,      the Blooket game, and the achievement test before and after using the Blooket game (Pre-test/Post-test).   The statistics used to analyze the data were basic statistics, percentage, mean, statistics to test the difference between pre- and post-test scores, and t-test determination.  The results were as follows: 1. The results of the learning management plan efficiency test using the Blooket game were 83.98/84.70, which was higher than the 80/80 criteria set, and 2. The comparative results of the achievement in memorizing Chinese vocabulary before and after using the Blooket game found that the mean score before learning was 12.45 and the mean score after the test was 25.41, which indicated that learners had learning achievement after developing memorizing Chinese vocabulary and reading-aloud skills by using Blooket was significantly higher than before learning at the 0.05 level.
