The Knowledge Transfer Model from Working Experience for Enhancing Self-esteem of Industrial Retirees in Bang Phil Samutprakarn Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the data of knowledge skill and experience for enhancing the self-esteem of industrial retirees in Bang Phli, Samutprakarn province, 2) to study the guidelines for transferring knowledge from experience for enhancing the self-esteem of industrial retirees, and 3) to study the format of transferring knowledge transfer model from experience for enhancing the self-esteem of industrial retirees. The samples were 327 industrial retirees. The research instruments were questionnaires and interview forms. The statistics used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results showed that 1) most industrial retirees were female workers with a secondary school level of education. The samples worked in the industry for 16-20 years, with the income from social security. The retirees were volunteers to transfer their working experiences to society to enhance their self-esteem. The retirees’ knowledge skill and experience level were at the middle level (=3.43), with the self-esteem level at the high level (=3.52). Also, the findings showed that the retiree’s knowledge and experience level in enhancing the self-esteem process was at a high level (=3.56), and the retiree’s knowledge and experience level in enhancing self-esteem channel was at a high level (=3.77). 2) The guidelines for transferring knowledge and experience were to have skills, knowledge, and practical experience, with effective channels in transferring knowledge and experience. 3) The presentation format for enhancing self-esteem was to transfer directly from experience.
