The Development of a Learning Management Plan to Enhance the English Language Skills of Students of the Faculty of Education, Dhonburi Rajabhat University, by using Micro Teaching Methods and Active Learning Management

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) to study and compare the results of the development of a learning management plan in English language skills of third-year students of the Faculty of Education at Dhonburi Rajabhat University, before and after using Micro Teaching methods and Active Learning Management, and (2) to study the students’ satisfaction toward the developed learning management process. The samples consisted of 19 students who enrolled in the English Language Skills Development course. The research instruments were the learning management plan for the English Language Skills Development course using the Micro Teaching and Active Learning methods, students’ learning achievement test, and satisfaction assessment form. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The results revealed that (1) the post-test mean score of students was higher than the pretest at a significant level of 0.01, and (2) the students' satisfaction was at a high level.
