The Assessment of Learning Achievement and Students’ Satisfaction towards the Online Lessons on Principle of Information Technology for the Undergraduate Students, Faculty of Science and Technology, Dhonburi Rajabhat University

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to find the students’ learning achievement before and after studying according to the 80/80 criteria, and to find their satisfaction towards the online lessons on Principle of Information Technology for the undergraduate students, Faculty of Science and Technology, Dhonburi Rajabhat University. The instruments employed in this research were 1) the 90-question quiz for assessing the students’ learning achievement, and 2) the questionnaire concerning the students’ satisfaction towards the online lessons. The research sampling group consisted of 74 students enrolled in the course Principle of Information Technology, who were drawn by purposive sampling method. The results revealed that the developed online lessons were highly efficient at 81.85/80.39. In overall, the students had higher learning achievement before studying compared to that after studying the lessons, with the higher pre-test score than that of the post-test at the statistical significant level of 0.05. The satisfaction of the sampling group was in the highest level with an average of 4.53.
