The Development of a Project Based Teaching and Learning Activities to Enhance Electronic Media Production Skill in Education of Computer Education Students

Abstract

The objectives of this study were: 1) to develop project-based teaching and learning activities, 2) to measure the efficiency of the developed activities, and 3) to study the learning achievement of students before and after participated in the activities. The population was students who enrolled for the subject of Production of Electronic Media in Education. The sample group of 30 second-year Computer Education students of Dhonburi Rajabhat University was selected through the Cluster Sampling Method. The findings indicated that students’ learning achievement after participated in the developed activities was higher at a significant level of 0.01. Students gained ability to partake in all 5 stages of the activities; problem identification, planning, implementation, writing and presenting report. The developed activities had the index of item-objective congruence of 0.80 with 0.93 standard deviation or at high level.
