Abstract
The purpose of this research was to studyfor the characteristics of IdolTeachers in Upper Northeastern Area, to Analyze Buddhism in promoting idol teachers, to propose an integrated Buddhist model for promoting Idol teachers modelin the upper northeast region. Using a mixed research model The tool used was interview form. Specific group conversation The data were analyzed using descriptive content analysis. The research found that
1) The characteristics of the Idol teacher are divided into 3 parts, namely 1.1) Self-development 1.2) Teacher self-ownership 1.3) Coordination with the community
2) The principles of Buddhism related to the promotion of prototype teachers include 2.1)Four Rddhippada2.2) Four Noble Truths2.3) Sangahavatthu42.4) qualities of a good friend72.5) Five Precepts2.6) holy abiding 42.7) condition of welfare 7
3) Integrated Buddhist model for promoting Idol teachers It consists of 3 parts: 3.1) The teacher who wants to be a model teacher 3.2) The principles of Buddhism that must be used as a practice in self development 8 things 3.3) There are 3 development components, namely self-development, self-possession, and Coordination with the community
