If we, nowadays, receive news from any sources, the topic that has been a hot issue now would be the rise of the right-wings, which could be considered as a global political trend. Finland, a country from the Northern Europe, will be discussed in this article as a subject of study. I will argue that the current right-wing Populist Party in Finland gains its ground from changes in European politics context after the debt crisis and the refugee crisis, facilitating the rise of populists across Europe. The True Finn Party, the right-wing populist and one of the coalition parties, has brought changes to Finnish politics and society. The article will firstly explain the politic and economic context of European states including the populist ideology. Secondly, it will give some background information of Finland. Lastly, it will pinpoint changes in the concept of welfare system and immigration, and will analyze the possibility of Finland leaving the Eurozone and the EU.
