The Development of Learning Achievement, Analytical Thinking and Attitudes on Social studies, religion and culture with the Use of 4MAT Learning Activities and 7E Inquiry Learning Activities for Mattayomsuksa 5

Abstract
The purposes of this study were : 1) to develop of learning achievement with
the use of 4MAT learning activities and 7E learning activities of the mattayomsuksa5
students between before and after learning. 2) to develop of analytical thinking with
the use of 4MAT learning activities and 7E learning activities of the mattayomsuksa5
students between before and after learning. 3) to study the attitudes on social studies,
religion and culture of the Mattayomsuksa 5 students with the use of 4MAT learning
activities and 7E Inquiry learning activities. The sample of this study consisted of 38
Mattayomsuksa 5 students, in the second semester of the academic year 2012, attending
Phaterbwittaya school Bangang DistrictDontan Prefecture Mukdahan Province under the
Office of Secondary Educational Service Area Office 22 they were selected using the
Purposive Selection. The instruments used were : 5 plans using 4MAT learning activities
and 5 plans using 7E inquiry learning activities ; 40 – item achievement test ; 45 – item
analytical thinking test ; and 15 – item rating – scale questionnaire on attitudes toward
on Social studies, Religion and Culture. The statistics used for analyzing data were
percentage, mean and standard deviation.
The results of this study were as follows :
1. The students had a certain learning Achievement of score was 77.36
percent and had a certain threshold all of students was 84.21 percent that higher
than a predetermined threshold.
2. The students had a certain Analytical thinking of score was 72.50 percent
and had a certain threshold all of students was 76.31 percent that higher than a
predetermined threshold.
3. The students who learned using of 4MAT learning activities and 7E Inquiry
learning activities showed more attitudes toward on Social studies, religion and culture
were higher than the before learning with mean was 4.43 at a high level.
