Abstract
Taking a lesson courseware program to use in learning was helpful for students to
search for a new knowledge and could be self-studied which was consistent with child
center. This made the researcher to develop the courseware program by using The development
of courseware learning by using the Geometer’s Sketchpad Program (GSP) on the topic of
Integer System in Matthayomsuksa 1.
The purposes of this study were to 1) develop the program by using the
Geometer’s Sketchpad Program (GSP) on the topic of Integer System in Matthayomsuksa 1 that
was efficient on the criteria 75/75 2) find out the effectiveness index of the developed program
3) compare the learning achievement in Mathematics on the topic of Integer System in
secondary 1 4) study and investigate the student’s satisfaction with the learning by using
the developed program and 5) study the learning patience of students who studied on the
topic of Integer System in Matthayomsuksa 1 after they had used the Geometer’s
Sketchpad Program (GSP). Example group used in this research was students in secondary
1/5 of 30 people who were chosen by two-stage cluster sampling, semester 1, academic year
2013 at Mukdawittayanukoon school belonged to the Secondary regional office, area 22 the
form of this research was One-Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The instruments used in this
research were 1) the achievement test form on the topic of Integer System of 30 items that
had the discrimination from 0.20 – 0.85 , difficulty index from 0.33 to 0.73 and the reliability
was 0.79 2) lesson plan of the lesson courseware by using the Geometer’s Sketchpad
Program (GSP) on the topic of Integer System of 9 lessons with efficiency was 81.57/84.22 3)
a measure of students’ satisfaction with learning by using the Geometer’s Sketchpad (GSP) on the topic of Integer System of 20 items in the discrimination index from 0.47 – 0.77,
reliability of this measure of students’ satisfaction was 0.93, the statistic used in the research
were percentage, mean and standard deviation and the hypothesis testing was t – test
(Dependent Samples)
The results of this research were as follows :
1. The lesson program by using the Geometer’s Sketchpad (GSP) on the topic of
Integer System in Matthayomsuksa 1 with efficiency was 81.57/84.22 respectively that was
higher than the requirement. Because of the lesson program takes into account the lessons
that make up the application development and validated by expert content. The lesson
program and the measures taken to develop and improve. It was a valuable lesson program
and established a result, students have the knowledge, excited motivation in learning and
achievement that was higher than the requirement.
2. The effectiveness index of the lesson program by using the Geometer’s
Sketchpad Program (GSP) on the topic of Integer System was 0.7825 that showed the
percentage of the advance of students’ learning was 78.25.
3. The achievement in mathematics of students in Matthayomsuksa 1 of before
learning and after learning was scores with after learning of students in example group were
higher than before learning as statistically significant at the level of .05. Before learning and
after were score mean equal 8.23 and 25.27 respectively.
4. The students had satisfaction in learning by using the lesson program by using
the Geometer’s Sketchpad Program (GSP) on the topic of Integer System at high level. ( X =
4.26)
5. The students in Matthayomsuksa 1 were given the activity of learning mathematics
by using the lesson program by using the Geometer’s Sketchpad Program (GSP) not retention
in learning mathematics (p = .039).
