The Comparisons of Learning Achievements and creative thinking through Web-based and Classroom-based Instruction on the Theme of ‘the Design of Creative Printing Media by Using Photo Decoration Program’ for Secondary School Students in Year 3

Abstract
This study is aimed to 1) develop the efficiency of web-based instruction on
the theme of ‘the design of creative printing media by using photo decoration program’
for grade 9 students 2) to examine developing effectiveness index of web based
instruction on the theme of ‘the design of creative printing media by using photo
decoration program’ for grade 9 3) to compare learning achievements web-based
instruction on the theme of ‘the design of creative printing media by using photo
decoration program’ for grade 9 4) to compare grade 9 student’s creative thinking
through web based instruction on the theme of ‘the design of creative printing media
by using photo decoration program 5) to study grade 9 student’s satisfaction of
developing web-based instruction on the theme of ‘the design of creative printing
media by using photo decoration program. The samples were 67 grade 9 students of
Makhawitthayakhom school, Makha sub- district, Nonsung district Nakhonratchasima in
semester 2 of academic year 2011 selected through cluster random sampling technique.
The instrument consisted of 1) 7 steps of web-based instruction on the theme of ‘the
design of creative printing media by using photo decoration program 2) lesson plans
integrated web-based instruction on the theme of ‘the design of creative printing
media by using photo decoration program 3) pre- post test 4) creative thinking
questionnaire using Torrance E. Paul technique 5) rating scale satisfaction of webbased instruction on the theme of ‘the design of creative printing media by using
photo decoration program . Data was analyzed by percentage, mean, standard
deviation, dependent samples t- test.
The results were.
1. Web-based instruction on the theme of ‘the design of creative printing
media by using photo decoration program for grade 9 students met efficiency with
the criteria of 80/80 and reached 78.03/80.29
2. Web-based instruction on the theme of ‘the design of creative printing
media by using photo decoration program for grade 9 students met the effectiveness
index at 0. 7456 or 74.56 percent 3. Students learning by using Web-based instruction on the theme of ‘the
design of creative printing media by using photo decoration program gain higher points
than classroom based at the .01 level of significance
4. Students learning by using Web-based instruction on the theme of ‘the
design of creative printing media by using photo decoration program have more
creative thinking than classroom based at the .01 level of significance
5. Grade 9 students satisfied with Web-based instruction on the theme of
‘the design of creative printing media by using photo decoration program at 4. 67
with very good level.
