A Development of the Learning Process Model on Studying Community for finding the Knowledge and Local Wisdom

Abstract
The purposes of this study were to develop the learning process model on
studying community for finding the knowledge and local wisdom. The research
methodology was research and development The data sources were a administrator
, teachers and students in Wat Tapakhawhai School under Phitsanulok Primary
Education Service Area Office1, 2010 academic year. The research instruments included
questionnaires, interviews , and focus group discussion. The quantity data analyzed by
mean and standard deviation. The quality data analyzed by content analysis. The study
results found that the learning process model on studying community for finding the
knowledge and local wisdom had 9 steps. It was appropriate applicable, and the
result of learning process model implementation found that the model made students
have both knowledge and ability in main subject and local knowledge, and they were
also aware in a value of local wisdom, had inquiry skills and could construct the
knowledge by themselves
