THE ROLE OF LOCAL ADMINISTRATORS IN PROMOTING DEMOCRATIC GOVERNANCE ACCORDING TO BUDDHISM TO THE PEOPLE AT CHUMPHAE DISTRICT IN KHONKAEN PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research are as follows : 1) study the  part of original  directors in promoting popular governance according to Buddhism to the people in Chum Phae District, Khon Kaen Province,  2) compare the public’s opinion on the  part of original  directors in promoting popular governance according to Buddhism to the people in Chum Phae District, Khon Kaen Province, classified by  particular factors, and 3) propose guidelines for strengthening the  part of original  directors in promoting popular governance according to Buddhism to the people in Chum Phae District, Khon Kaen Province. The  exploration methodology is a mixed - system  exploration. The qualitative  exploration collected data from 9  crucial  snitchers using in- depth interviews, and the quantitative  exploration collected data using questionnaires from a sample of 396 people. The instruments used were questionnaires and interview forms. Data were anatomized by chancing   frequence, chance, mean, standard  divagation,  thesis testing using t- test and F- test, and descriptive analysis. The  exploration results are as follows

The public’s opinion on the part of original  directors in promoting popular governance to the people in Chum Phae District, Khon Kaen Province At a high  position( =  3.89, S.D. =  0.19) when classified by each aspect by ranking the average value from  utmost to least as follows participation in the election and  junking of original  directors and original members( =  4.34, S.D. =  0.24), access to information( =  3.69, S.D. =  0.31), and giving people the right to  share in original administration( =  3.62, S.D. =  0.36) were at a high  position, independently.

            2.Comparing the  places of original  directors in promoting popular governance for people in Chum Phae District, Khon Kaen Province, it was  set up that people with different genders and  periods had no different opinions. People with different occupations, education, and  inflows had different opinions with statistical significance at the 0.05  position.

The part of original  directors in promoting popular governance according to Buddhism for people in Chum Phae District, Khon Kaen Province should encourage people to  share in political expression. People should be encouraged to exercise their right to  bounce. People should be encouraged to reduce work procedures to  grease people. People should be encouraged to  share in important  public events. It should promote people to admit services inversely and fairly. It should  inseminate  mindfulness in people to continue their own original traditions. It should promote people to have harmony in their communities.
