Abstract

This research aims to 1) study the problems of teaching and learning management, 2) develop music and chanting activities, 3) evaluate music and chanting activities. The organization of music therapy and chanting activities is a quantitative and qualitative research. The sample groups are 4 groups of 8 parents of children with special needs, 1 music teacher, 1 religious education lecturer, 1 teacher of special education center, 1 person, purposively selected. The research instruments are questionnaires and interview forms from the population. Data collection: Collect questionnaires and interview forms, collect and summarize all data.

The research results found that the problems in teaching the learning process of some subjects that parents are not good at, such as music, the educational organizers therefore wrote a letter requesting permission to study together with a nearby network school that has a music teacher directly.

Develop musical activities and prayers to help children concentrate and focus on learning music. Children meditate before learning music every time, which helps children concentrate and be calm, reducing anxiety, and making learning more efficient.

Evaluation of activities found that the organization of music therapy and chanting activities to create emotions for children with special needs, Ban Rian Chaipriya, Huai Rai Subdistrict, Khon Sawan District, Chaiyaphum Province, had opinions that the children's behavior would be getting up and walking around, with an average of 2.75, easily irritated when dissatisfied, with an average of 4.50, crying and being self-centered, with an average of 2.75, not daring to speak, speaking very little or not showing emotions in response when having a conversation, with an average of 2.63, not knowing how to wait, with an average of 2.50, being aggressive and destroying things when angry, with an average of 2.38, not daring to express themselves, like to stay still, and do not like to participate in activities, with an average of 2.25.
