Gharavassadhamma Of For Promoting Ethics Of Administrators Of The Subdistrict Administrative Organization At BuaYai District In NakhonRatchasima Province

Abstract

This research has the following objectives: 1. to study the level of public opinions towards the promotion of ethics among the administrators of the Subdistrict Administrative Organizations in Buayai District, Nakhonratchasima Province,  2. to compare the people’s opinions towards the ethic promotion  of the administrators of the Subdistrict Administrative Organizations in Buayai District, Nakhonratchasima Province classified by personal factors, and 3. to present the application of Gharavasadhamma principles to promote ethics of the administrators of the Subdistrict Administrative Organizations  in Buayai District, Nakhonratchasima Province.  The research methodology was the combined method. The qualitative research collected data from 9 key informants by means of in-depth interviews and the quantitative research collected data with questionnaires from 399 samples out of 83,760 people  aged 18 years upwards  living in Buayai District, Nakhonratchasima Province. The tools were questionnaires and interviews. The data were analyzed by  frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, t-test, , F-test, and the data were analyzed with descriptive interpretation.

Findings of the research were as follows: 1. The level of applying the principles of Gharavasadhamma to support ethics of the administrators overall was high (X=3.92) classified by side as follows:  wisdom (X=4.09), bravery (X=3.92), moderation (X=3.88), and justice (X=3.78) respectively.  2. The results of comparison found that the people of different genders had no different opinions, therefore  the research hypothesis was rejected.  While the people with different ages, occupations, education, and incomes had significantly different opinions at the 0.05 level, thus accepting the research hypothesis.
