This takes the perspective of Buddhism, which sees only as the state of natural things with the specific functions and the constituents of all things. In the Tripitaka, there is mention of the elements functioning in the body but no mention of illness of the elements. In the field of medical scriptures, the elements are mentioned according to their functions and the state of illness happens because of no balance in the elements. The medical flavor indicates medical properties. Herbal medicine used to treat illness came from the experience of trial and error of ancient Thai medicine healers. This is a natural method of human learning. From the problems of sickness a variety of ailments have been tried and tested by many ways such as eating, smelling, applying, soaking, or learning from the surroundings. The situation of the new emerging disease called Covid-19 causes effects on both physical and mental health.
