Therefore, internal auditors need to have knowledge and understanding of the operation to be accurate as to what material differences are from the previous regulations to operate in accordance with the new regulations able to verify the procurement process to be in accordance with the rules and regulations and can give recommendations to the inspection agencies as a guideline for procurement audits according to the Government Procurement and Supplies Management Act 2017 to be used as a guideline for inspection. Procurement operations shall be in accordance with the rules regulations and announcements of the government including the criteria used in the management of various departments for internal audit officers.
