Abstract

 

Mindfulness for the communication of leadership in modern society, Leadership to perform right, knowing what situation is happening in modern society. The judging criterion to use and consume the media is Kalama Sutta, which is the discourse to teach people not to believe just because of seeing, hearing, assumption. Nowadays, there are many kinds of media device/channel such as computer, television, cell phone, theater, radio, facebook, LINE, newspaper and game addiction. A user or a consumer must consider, distinguish, and judge these mediadevices/channels properly before believing. Mindfulness is a tool to properly control a person to be conscious all the time while watching or knowing whatfeelingis happening through eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind whether it is wholesome(good) or unwholesome(bad). A person must have righteousness and reasons. To have mindfulness all the time makes a person healthy  optimistic and  a good leader ; it is also a guard to protect bad things to come into life. In the contrary, if without mindfulness during communication or while receiving information from media through eyes, ears, and thinking, a person can be harmful as appeared in the media.
