Abstract

ABSTRACT

              From this research, it is found that the ideal life in the Theravada Buddhist Philosophy is mentioned about of the principles of the truth of life as a corporeality, feeling, perception, mental formations, consciousness which is arising passing away and persisting, in order to demonstrate what is the suffering, cause of suffering, cessation of suffering and path leading to the cessation of suffering.  The ideal life regarding virtues of life is presented by the concept of Buddhist ordination; burden of studying the scriptures and burden of meditation practice which is the guideline for eliminate corruption. Meanwhile, Dharma propagation emphasized the Buddhist saints as a model of scripture, practice, and penetration to Buddhist in order to give benefit happiness and assistance for many people.

              shows that the truth of life is comprised of body and mental which are conditioned by causes and changed any times in order to show the truth of life that everything is occurred by causes, without cause, thing could not be happened.  In regard to the ideal life regarding the virtues of life, he shows the concept of Buddhist ordination, studying of scriptures and meditations by emphasizes of its essence more than ceremony. Regarding the Dharma propagation, he has a concept to describe of Dharma by apply such Dharma with social context in order to enlighten Buddhism understanding and create Buddhist successor (Dhamathayat) for the happiness of themselves and society.
