Self-Learning Package on Sufficiency Economy Philosophy into Practice of Sao Kradong Community, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya

Abstract

This study was aimed to develop a Self-Learning Package on Sufficiency Economy Philosophy into Practice of Sao Kradong Community, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and to study the effects using the Self-Learning Package.  It was a pre-experimental research design in one-group-pretest-posttest design. The study population consisted of 40 volunteer residents of the Sao Kradong Community. The data-collecting instruments were composed of an achievement test on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy into Practice of Sao Kradong Community, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and a test to measure the satisfaction with the Self-Learning Package.

The study results revealed that they were satisfied with the Self-Learning Package at the high level. Thus, they were satisfied at the high level with of the Self-Learning Package in terms of its content and presentation, usefulness, format and neatness. As for the result from a comparison of knowledge among the volunteer residents before and after using the Self-Learning Package showed that their scores of knowledge after were higher than those of the one before.
