The Effected of Opening Casino in Thailand in Att itude of Crime Suspression Division Police

Abstract
The study of the impact of the opening of legal casinos in the attitude of the police by questionnaire 132 people is working in the Crime Suppression Division. The purpose is study the attitude of the Police Officers (class rank: Police Lieutenant - Police Captain) who working in Crime Suppression Division to the effects of opening legal casinos and factors related to the opinion of the police towards the opening of legal casinos include the possibility way to open legal casinos in the police attitude. This study is a survey research in the form of quantitative research which was used as a tool to collect information.
The results of this study showed that the impact of the opening of legal casinos in the country in the attitude of the police Crime Suppression Division showed that three issues 1) related to social, cultural and moral 2) related to economy, and 3) related to fraud and corruption of government officials and influential. The testing hypotheses results on the second and third, there was no correlation between the variables in the background, age, religion, marital status and income of the population with no correlation between the work variables including class rank, years of work, the amount of time working on the case of gambling (before working in Crime Suppression Division) and the period of performance related to the case of gambling (working in Crime Suppression Division) with the attitude of police officers (class rank: Police Lieutenant - Police Lieutenant Colonel)
Anyway, the results showed that the difference of a factor in education, only one of the background factors, is related to the attitude of the police. This means that police may have the basic knowledge and understanding of the theories as well as in-depth knowledge related to the casino different.
