แรงจูงใจในการเข้าศึกษาต่อมหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยเรื่องแรงจูงใจในการเข้าศึกษาต่อมหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบแรงจูงใจในการตัดสินใจเลือกสมัครเป็นนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายชั้นปีที่ 6 จำนวน 460 คน จากโรงเรียนประจำจังหวัด 4 โรงเรียน ได้แก่ 1) โรงเรียนเบ็ญจะมะมหาราช จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี 2) โรงเรียนยโสธรพิทยาคม จังหวัดยโสธร 3) โรงเรียนศรีสะเกษวิทยาลัย จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ 4) โรงเรียนอำนาจเจริญ จังหวัดอำนาจเจริญ ได้รับแบบสอบถามกลับคืนจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 418 ชุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 90.87 เครื่องมือที่ใช้เป็น แบบสอบถามที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยหาค่า ร้อยละ(%) ค่าเฉลี่ย () และค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) สถิติทีเทสต์ (t-test ) สถิติเอฟเทสต์ (F-test) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นักเรียนเลือกศึกษาต่อที่มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี ร้อยละ78.95 ส่วนใหญ่สนใจเลือกศึกษาต่อที่ วิทยาลัยแพทยศาสตร์และการสาธารณสุข ร้อยละ 23.64 เหตุผลสำคัญที่เลือกศึกษาต่อในคณะต่างๆ ส่วนใหญ่มีเหตุผลเลือกเพราะตรงตามความสนใจ และความถนัดของตนเอง ร้อยละ 68.15 ส่วนด้านแรงจูงใจในการเข้าศึกษาต่อในมหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี 3 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านสถาบัน ด้านบุคคลแวดล้อม และด้านความถนัดและความสนใจส่วนตัว มีระดับแรงจูงใจใน ระดับมาก และเมื่อเปรียบเทียบพบว่าแรงจูงใจด้านสถาบัน ด้านบุคคลแวดล้อม และด้านความถนัดและ ความสนใจส่วนตัวมีความแตกต่างกันตามโรงเรียนที่ศึกษาอยู่ ระดับเกรดเฉลี่ยสะสมของนักเรียนมีแรงจูงใจที่แตกต่างกัน ส่วนเพศ สายการศึกษาของนักเรียน และค่าใช้จ่ายเฉลี่ยต่อเดือนที่ผู้ปกครองให้ต่างมีอิทธิพลต่อแรงจูงใจในการเข้าศึกษาต่ออย่างไม่มีนัยสำคัญ

STUDENTS’ MOTIVATIONS FOR SELECTING UBON RATCHATHANI UNIVERSITY FOR FURTHER STUDY

The objective of the research was to study and compare students’ motivation in selecting Ubon Ratchathani University to further their study. The sample was 460 Matayomsuksa 6 students from 4 provincial schools, 1) Benjamamaharach School, Ubon Ratchathani Province, 2) Yasoton-pittayakom School, Yasoton Province, 3) Srisaked-wittayalai School, Srisaked Province, and 4) Amnajaroen School, Amnajaroen Province. There were 418 returned questionnaires (90.87%). The instrument used was a questionnaire constructed by the researcher from documentary study and related literature. Statistics used for data analysis were percentages (%), means (), standard deviations (S.D.), t-test, and F-test. The research findings found that 78.95% selected to further their study at Ubon Ratchathani University. Of these, 23.64% were interested in studying in the College of Medicine and Public Health, and 68.15% gave the major reason in selecting to further their study in different faculties as relevant to their interest and aptitude. There were 3 factors expressed as motivation to study at Ubon Ratchathani University, other persons, personal aptitude, and interest, and motivation was high in every aspect. Comparisons of variables showed that students’ motivation regarding other persons, personal aptitude, and interest differed from school to school. Also, the students’ grade point averages affected their motivation. Gender, fields of study, and average expenditure/month given by their parents were not significant influences on the motivation to further their study.
