Background and Significance

The Journal of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Innovation, Kalasin University began accepting submissions and published its first issue (Volume 1, Issue 1) in 2022. The journal was established to make academic work by researchers and scholars available both domestically and internationally across various professional fields. The journal publishes research articles and academic articles that reflect perspectives on situations occurring in Thai society, contributing to the creation of new knowledge and the exchange of academic experiences.

Types of articles
     There are two types of articles: academic and research articles, both in Thai and English.

Publication Policy 

  1. Submitted articles or manuscripts must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication by any other platform.
  2. All manuscripts under consideration are subject to anonymous peer review by three experts, with approval from the editorial office.
  3. Authors must strictly adhere to the regulations and conditions set by the editorial office and consent to editorial revisions and finalization of accepted manuscripts prior to publication.

Publication Process   

Submitted articles or manuscripts will proceed through the publication process managed by the editorial office, in accordance with the following procedures:

  1. The editorial office will send a confirmation email to the author upon receipt of the submitted manuscript.
  2. The editorial office will conduct an initial evaluation of the manuscript to ensure its relevance to the journal’s scope, as well as its quality and practical contribution to the relevant field.
  3. If the manuscript is deemed suitable for publication, it will undergo a Double-Blind Peer Review process conducted by at least three experts in the relevant field to assess its validity, reliability, and overall quality.
  4. Upon completion of the peer review process, the editorial office will decide whether the manuscript is accepted, requires revision, or is rejected, and will notify the author accordingly.
  5. Submitted manuscripts will not be returned to the authors.

Publication Fee   

(a) Internal authors (members of Kalasin University) pay a publication fee of 2,000 THB per article.

(b) External authors pay a publication fee of 3,000 THB per article.

Conditions for Article Processing Charges (APC):   

  1. The Article Processing Charge (APC) will be implemented starting from Volume 4, No. 1 onward.
  2. The APC will be collected only after the manuscript has passed the initial review by the editor.
  3. If the manuscript is rejected during the peer review process, the journal will not refund the APC.
