Welcome to The Journal of Integrated Business Innovation and Sustainability (JIBIS)

To ensure a smooth submission and double-blind peer-review process, all authors are required to follow the guidelines below.

1. General Submission Requirements

Originality: Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not currently under consideration by any other journal or publication platform.

Language: JIBIS accepts manuscripts written in either Thai or English.

For Thai-language manuscripts, authors must provide the article title, abstract, and keywords in both Thai and English. The main text may be written in Thai. In-text citations of Thai-language sources may remain in Thai and should follow the author–date citation format. In the reference list, references to Thai-language sources should retain the original bibliographic information in Thai, including the author name, title, journal or publication name, and publication year. An English translation of the title of the cited work should be provided in square brackets [.....] immediately after the original Thai title. Romanization or translation of Thai author names, journal names, and publisher names is not required. Please follow the JIBIS reference guidelines for Thai-language sources provided in the JIBIS Official Manuscript Template.

For English-language manuscripts, the article title, abstract, keywords, main text, in-text citations, and reference list must be presented in English or Roman script. Thai-language sources cited in an English manuscript must therefore be romanized/translated as specified in the section Citing Thai-Language Sources in the JIBIS Official Manuscript Template.

Scope: The manuscript must align with the journal’s core focus areas, including but not limited to:

  • Managerial Economics
  • Business Innovation
  • Sustainable Business & ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)
  • Financial Innovation
  • Marketing Innovation
  • Logistics & Supply Chain Management
  • Strategic Management
  • Organizational Behavior (OB) & Human Resource Management (HRM)
  • Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management

2. Manuscript Structure, Formatting, and Citation Guidelines

Article Length & Formatting

Page Budget: Manuscripts must be between 15–20 A4 pages in length and must not exceed 25 pages in total, inclusive of all text, tables, figures, footnotes, and the reference list. All submissions must utilize the official JIBIS manuscript template.

Page Setup: Margins must be set to 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all four sides.

Typography & Font Styles

Thai Manuscripts

  • Font: TH Sarabun New (or TH Sarabun PSK)
  • Title: 18 pt, bold
  • Section Headings: 16 pt, bold
  • Body Text: 16 pt, regular

English Manuscripts

  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Title: 14 pt, bold
  • Section Headings: 12 pt, bold
  • Body Text: 12 pt, regular

Line Spacing & Paragraphing

Line Spacing: Use single spacing throughout the entire manuscript.

Paragraph Spacing: Set paragraph spacing to 0 pt Before and 6 pt After. Do not insert blank lines between paragraphs.

Indentation: The first line of each body paragraph must be indented by 0.5 inches (1.27 cm), except where APA 7th Edition specifies otherwise.

Abstract & Keywords

Every manuscript must include a single-paragraph abstract of 150–250 words, without subheadings or first-line indentation.

The abstract should be concise, cohesive, and substantive, clearly presenting the research objectives, methodology, key findings, and major practical and/or managerial implications.

Provide 3–5 relevant keywords directly below the abstract.

For Thai-language manuscripts, both a Thai abstract and keywords and an English abstract and keywords must be provided.

Citation and Referencing Style (APA 7th Edition)

JIBIS follows the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition style for in-text citations and reference lists.

Reference List: Every source cited in the manuscript must appear in the reference list, and every source in the reference list must be cited in the manuscript. References must be arranged alphabetically by the surname of the first author and formatted according to APA 7th Edition.

DOI Inclusion: Authors must provide an active DOI URL for references that have a DOI. DOIs must be presented as full secure links in the following format:

https://doi.org/10.xxxx/xxxxx

Authors should verify DOI information and must not create or infer a DOI when one has not been assigned.

3. Submission Checklist

Before submitting a manuscript through the ThaiJO system, authors must prepare the following documents:

Title Page (Author Information): A separate file containing the full article title, author name(s), academic/institutional affiliations, ORCID iDs, and contact details of the corresponding author.

For Thai-language manuscripts, authors should provide the article title and author information in both Thai and English, where applicable.

Anonymous Manuscript (Main File): The complete manuscript prepared using the official JIBIS manuscript template. To maintain the integrity of the double-blind peer-review process, this file must not contain author names, affiliations, acknowledgments, or other information that could reveal the identity of the author(s).

Cover Letter & Declaration Form/JIBIS Paper Submission Form. A document signed by the corresponding author confirming originality and ethical compliance and disclosing any potential conflicts of interest.

Plagiarism Check Report: Authors must submit a similarity report generated by an accepted plagiarism-detection system, such as Turnitin or CopyCatch. The overall similarity index must not exceed 30%, excluding the reference list.

4. Publication Policy & Editorial Fees

JIBIS operates as a fully Open-Access journal. In alignment with its mission to support the dissemination and accessibility of scholarly knowledge and innovation, no submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), or publication fees are charged to authors at any stage of the editorial and publication process.

บทความวิจัย

This section publishes original empirical, qualitative, quantitative, or theoretical research articles that provide significant new insights and contributions to the fields of integrated business innovation, sustainability, and related disciplines. All submissions must present rigorous methodologies, clear theoretical frameworks, and substantial discussions of findings.

Peer Review Policy: All manuscripts in this section undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process by at least three (3) independent external experts in the relevant field. The editorial board ensures that reviewers are selected from outside the authors' affiliated institutions to maintain absolute objectivity and academic integrity.

Academic Article

This section includes high-quality conceptual, theoretical, or analytical papers that discuss, critique, or propose new frameworks, concepts, or perspectives in business administration and sustainability. While these papers may not always rely on new empirical data, they must offer profound logical analysis and intellectual advancement to contemporary academic debates.

Peer Review Policy: All academic articles undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process by at least two (2) to three (3) independent external experts before a final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief.

Review Articles

This section features comprehensive, critical, and state-of-the-art evaluations of existing literature within the journal’s scope. Review articles should synthesize current research trends, critically analyze key debates, identify critical knowledge gaps, and propose clear directions for future research in business innovation or sustainable management.

Peer Review Policy: Manuscripts in this section are subject to a strict double-blind peer review process by at least three (3) independent external experts to ensure the depth, accuracy, and academic value of the synthesis.

บทวิจารณ์หนังสือ

This section provides critical, scholarly evaluations of recently published books, monographs, and significant reports relevant to global business innovation, sustainability, management, and economics. Book reviews should summarize the core content, evaluate the author's arguments, and assess the book’s overall contribution to the academic and professional community.

Review Policy: Submissions in this section undergo an editorial review by the Editorial Board or a single-blind review process to ensure relevance, academic tone, and quality.

Copyright, Licensing, and Open-Access Policy

1. Open Access Policy
The Journal of Integrated Business Innovation and Sustainability (JIBIS) is a fully Open Access journal. All articles published are immediately and permanently accessible online free of charge to readers, researchers, and institutions worldwide upon publication. This policy aims to facilitate global knowledge exchange, maximize research visibility, and enhance academic impact in the fields of business innovation and sustainable management.

2. Licensing Policy (Creative Commons)
All articles published in JIBIS are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) License.

Under this license, readers are free to: Share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

Subject to the following terms:

Attribution: Proper credit must be given to the authors and JIBIS, including a link to the license and an indication of any changes made.

Non-Commercial: The material cannot be used for any commercial or profitable purposes.

No Derivatives: If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you are strictly prohibited from distributing the modified material.

(Note: If the editorial board prefers to allow commercial use and derivations to gain higher citation speeds, JIBIS can switch to a CC BY 4.0 license.)

3. Copyright and Author Rights
Copyright Retention: Authors retain the full copyright of their published work without any restrictions.

Publishing Rights: Authors grant JIBIS the first publication right to distribute the article under the Creative Commons license mentioned above.

Self-Archiving (Green Open Access): Authors are fully permitted and encouraged to deposit all versions of their work (Pre-print, Accepted Manuscript, or the final Publisher's Version/PDF) in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic social networks (e.g., ResearchGate) immediately upon publication, provided that full bibliographic citation and a link to the original JIBIS publication are included.
