Indicators of Organizational Happiness for Personnel in Buddhist Universities of Thailand

Abstract
The purposes of this research were: 1) to develop the indicators of Organizational Happiness for personnel in Buddhist Universities of Thailand, 2) to examine the structural validity by means of the empirical data of Indicators of Organizational Happiness for Personnel in Buddhist Universities of Thailand once developed, and 3) to test invariance of the indicator model between academic and support personnel. 2,711 population, staff, in Buddhist Universities were used in this research. The instruments used in this study were of questionnaires as a 5-levels scale from 480 samples, acquired by stratify randomized and sampling is returned. The statistics used in the analysis are the descriptive statistics which are of the mean, standard deviation, skewness and kurtosis by SPSS program package. The Second order confirmatory factor and multiple group structural equation model were analyzed by Mplus program.
The results of the research were found as follows: 1. The indicators of organizational happiness for personnel in Buddhist Universities of Thailand consisted of: 1) the body factors comprising three indicators as follows: (1) development of body, (2) healthiness, (3) relaxation, 2) the mind factors comprising three indicators as follows: (1) development of mind, (2) de-stress and, (3) happiness, and 3) the social factors comprising three indicators as follows: (1) development of precept, (2) participatory life in economics and society, (3) equality. 2. The model of Indicators of Organizational Happiness for Personnel in Buddhist Universities of Thailand is in line with empirical data as = 1.966, RMSEA value = 0.045, SRMR value = 0.021, CFI value = 0.990 and TLI value = 0.981. 3. The model of Indicators of Organizational Happiness for Personnel in Buddhist Universities of Thailand was an unchanging pattern of models among groups of personnel, academicians and supporters, in Buddhist Universities of Thailand and there was no invariance in values of the composition in each indicator and the essential composition of the body, mind and society.
