Opinions on Establishing a Project to Increase the Breeding of Dog Conch by the Fishing Community

Abstract
The purpose of this research aims to study opinions on the establishment of the project and the need to participate in the management of the project to increase the dog conch in the community. The sample consisted of 140 fishermen and other stakeholders in Trang province. Data were collected by questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results of the study found that 1) the opinion about the people who should participate in the project the most were fishermen, the place that should be used as an operation was the beach area, the villagers in the community should play a part in getting the most benefits, and most of the opinions about the establishment of this project were very good. For this project to be successful, it must rely on cooperation. The person most suitable for implementing the project is the village headman, and the primary budget source to support the project should be the Department of Fisheries.2) The opinions on the project's establishment showed that fishermen agreed at a high level. 3) The need for participation in project management were at a very high level.
