Generation Z and Community Strengthening in Wat Duangkhae neighborhood, Pathumwan District, B angkok

Abstract
This research aims to: 1) investigate the problems occurring in Wat Duang Kha community, 2) examine the participation of Generation Z in community strengthening in the Wat Duang Kha neighborhood, and 3) propose strategies to encourage Generation Z to participate in community strengthening. The qualitative study collected data from key informants including staff from the Foundation for Child Development (Duang Kha Center), community committee members, community members, monks, and youth leaders in Wat Duang Kha community, totaling 21 people. The research tools included in-depth interviews, and data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that the Wat Duang Kha community faces various problems: economic, social, cultural, and environmental.. Generation Z hasinvolved in the community's social, cultural and environmental development.. Strategies to promote Generation Z's involvement in strengthening the community include supporting and instilling in them a sense of value and importance of their own community, and organizing the annual “Rong Muang Rueang Yim” event to promote collaboration among Generation Z and all other generations.
