Developing Guideline for the Quality of Home Lodge for Travelers, Community Base Tourism of Ban Ko Rian Community, Ko Rian Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Abstract
This research article is based on research on how to improve quality home lodging for travelers in community-based tourism of Ban Ko Rian community. The purpose of this research was to study how to develop quality home lodging for travelers in order to promote community-based tourism and to study the potential of community-based tourism. Qualitative research was used in this research. The semi-structured interview was used as a tool and the data collection method was based on a qualitative study which was divided into 8 steps, such as surveying the areas, having small group discussion, organizing trainings for the community, evaluating the potential of local entrepreneurs in the community and analyzing issues together, etc.. The study showed that the quality of home lodging for travelers of Ko Rien community is sufficient, according to the criteria specified inthe Department of Tourism’s 2019 announcement. As for the potential of community tourism, it was found that the community had a unique identity in activities that promoted the conservation of Thai dessert recipes. The environment is still surrounded by rivers and canals that can attract tourists. However, online marketing should be promoted to improve access to the site information for travelers.
