Knowledge Management of Local Wisdom in Producing Khao Kab Products to Promote Lifelong Learning in Hua Suea Sub-district, Lampang Province: Community Lesson

Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1) to study and collect local wisdom of Khao Kab product knowledge in Hua Suea community 2) to analyze knowledge management process in Hua Suea community and 3) to develop guidelines of community knowledge management to promote lifelong learning. This study was qualitative research design. The total of 40 key informants were community product specialists, community specialists, community leaders and villagers, and teachers in a non-formal education center. The instruments of this study were in-depth interview and focus group discussion form. Data were analyzed by using the content analysis technique. The results revealed that the effective community knowledge management guideline consisted of knowledge acquisition, knowledge creation, knowledge storing and capturing, knowledge transfer and distribution.
