The Development Guidelines for Community Enterprise Efficiency of Silk Weaving Cooperative Group in Ban Hua Fai, Po Daeng Subdistrict, Chonnabot District, Khon Kaen Province

Abstract
The objective of this study was to study the group operations, problems, and needs to develop guidelines for running a community enterprise. The study collected data from 10 committee members through observation, in-depth interviews, and focus groups. The results revealed there were seven problems faced by the cooperate group1) not enough mulberry leaves for silkworm feeding; 2) defective and old-fashioned silk weaving equipment 3) members not being able to produce silk thread by themselves 4) some members unable to produce silk threads according to TAS standards 5) most members were elderly 6) lack of business successors and 7) lack of marketing knowledge. As a result, this study proposes 3 aspects of development for community enterprise: 1) increase productivity by empowering members with training to provide knowledge, experience, and enhance skills that were important for silk production; 2) Enhance group operations, by creating networks with communities and local schools to conduct a project for additional activities to transfer knowledge and cultivate consciousness in conservation in local wisdom to youth and 3) The company should be building marketing and networking channels with various shops and creating an online platform to communicate directly with customers and more quickly expand the customer base.
