Local Wisdom for Livelihood Sustenance of Paka-Kyaw Ethnic Groups at Ban Mae San, Mae Moh District, Lampang Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research cover the study the local wisdom for sustenance of Paka-Kyaw ethnic groups at Ban Mae San Mae Moh District, Lampang Province by using participatory action research (PAR) were 1) Which aim to study community context and local wisdom 2) Develop their database management system as website format 3) Create and discover their local instruction efficiency and
4) Compare the academic achievement of students who were educated with local instruction as a consequence of approved local instruction by 80% . The target group consisted of 30 students and 30 villagers. The research materials composed of community context survey, in-depth interview and local instruction (programmed instruction).  The main findings are as follows ; 1. Community which are 85% of Buddhist, 2. The website “http://banmaesarn.com/” consist of the history and local wisdom 3. The local instruction is high quality and effectively as 84.79/83.35 (student) and 90.68/88.35 (villager). The result is in accordance with quality standard and  4. The students and villagers, who were educated by programmed instruction, have got scores as 83.65% and 89.58%, respectively. When the reviewers compared their scores with the standard score found that 83.33% of students (25 students) and 100%
of villagers (30 persons) passed the standard academic achievement score as 80%.
