Art-based Learning by Visual Narrative to Improve Elderly People Well-being

Abstract
At present, Thailand is facing the increasing number of elderly people so and is tending to become 20% of the main population of the country within the year of 2021. Many factors caused by the deteriorating physical and mental state is likely to cause more problems, apart from decreasing the health of the elderly. It also affects families and related people, including large communities that would cause economic, social and national impacts. These were the main causes to delay the development of the country. Art activities were parts of elderly well-beings improvement through various art activities types. Visual narrative was an art activity, which promoted elderly as systematic creativity so that they can express their own prided experiences in the past through their verbal and drawing by Art-based activities. Art could aid the elderly reduce the deterioration that occurs within the body, mind, society and intelligence. It also develops and promotes elderly well-beings in four dimensions: physical, psychological, social and intellectual, which could encourage them to live on their owns and with others by sharing their past experiences and knowledge for others. It promoted a better understanding and attitude from creators to listeners and viewers.
